For over 10 years I have been a single mother of a daughter. I also became a single mother of a little boy as well 3 years ago. I didn't want to be a single mother. I really don't think many people plan to be single parents, but I do think that some people can deal with being a single parent and some can't. I however have been a person who has persevered and became the best mother that I could be to my children. And even through the tough financial, emotional, and physical challenges I made sure that they were my first priority and that I did all that I could. If asked if I would do it all again I would have to say I would've made wiser decisions. Even though I love my kids to death I think that a lot of people given a second chance would do things differently.
